Homecoming at North Lake College

The Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) is hosting its second annual homecoming celebration. This October, the seven colleges of DCCCD will welcome thousands of students, both past and present, to revel in all things fall fun. The celebration kicks off with the DCCCD’s Distinguished Alumni and Pillar of the Community Award Ceremony on Friday, October 11 from 7 – 11 p.m. at Edison’s in Dallas.

North Lake College has lined up a list of events and activities on campus during October 14-17 for its There’s No Place Like HOMEcoming themed celebration.

Over the Rainbow: Crazy Sock Day*
Monday, October 14
Wear your favorite pair of crazy socks.
Socks will be available for purchase day of the event outside of Student Engagement in A414.

There’s No Place Like Home: College Day
Tuesday, October 15
Wear your favorite college/alumni apparel.

Chalk It Up
Tuesday, October 15 | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. | Lakeside Patio

’70s, ’80s & ’90s, Oh My: Throwback Thursday*
Thursday, October 17
Dress in your favorite retro attire from the ’70s, ’80s or ’90s.

Welcome to the Emerald & Royal Blue City: NLC Spirit Day*
Friday, October 18
Show off your school spirit by wearing NLC apparel or dress in blue or green.

*To be eligible for a themed day prize, get your photo taken in the Welcome Center from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
