Chalk It Up Fall 2018 Winners

On Tuesday, October 23, students across campus participated in the semesterly NLC chalk art competition, Chalk It Up! The Fall 2018 theme was North Lake College School Pride. NLC Welcomes National Organization, Truth

North Lake College (NLC) recently received a grant from the Truth Initiative organization to endorse and advocate a smoke-free campus by enlisting five percent of the student population, which is approximately 544 students. In 2003, there was only one smoke-free college campus nationwide, but in 2018, there are 1,475 smoke-free campuses, and we want NLC to join this growing list of those campuses! The Truth Initiative was established in 1998 as part of a Master Settlement Agreement between major U.S. tobacco companies and 46 states, the District Columbia and five territories. Art Faculty Exhibition in the NLC Gallery

North Lake College is a Dallas County Early Voting Location

North Lake College's Central Campus will host general election early voting for three days on October 29, 30 and 31, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Voting will take place on the upper level of the library, in room L235 (Chamberlain Reading Room).
